Bandar Lampung (2nd day)

We had breakfast at 7 am in Indra Puri Hotel Restaurant. The menus at that restaurant were standard menu of breakfast in the other hotels like fried rice, Mie, Tempe, fried egg, tea, coffee, etc. The view of restaurant is very good . I could see beautiful sea when had breakfast. Full of breakfast food, we were going to Herman’s wedding at 9.30 am. Herman wedding was Padang wedding type so there were many Padang’s foods like Sate Padang, empek-empek, etc. The ceremony of Padang wedding type was simple and shorter than Java Wedding type.
At the end of wedding ceremony, we took some photo with Herman and then after that we went back to the hotel for checking out and going back to Jakarta.
After checked out, we went to yen-yen shop for buying some “oleh-oleh”. Yen-yen is very popular small crowded shop at Lampung. There were many customers who want to buy many traditional Lampung foods like “keripik pisang”. I bought some keripik pisang too.
After bought some “oleh-oleh” we went to the Pelabuhan Bakauheni. At the journey to Pelabuhan Bakauheni, we had difficulties to find the Gas Station which have Premium Gas. Most of the Lampung gas station sell solar and only have small premium so the premium always sold out. Finally after looking at three gas stations, we got the premium. At the 2.30 pm, we stopped for a while at Padang Restaurant named “Begadang 4” for having lunch. At that restaurant, i only ate fried chicken which fried using egg. The fried chicken in this restaurant is more delicious than siang malam restaurant. Full of food, the journey was continued with destination to Pelabuhan Bakauheni. In Bakauheni, our car should wait in the line almost one hour for ferry to cross selat sunda with destination to Pelabuhan Merak, Banten. We were in the ferry for more than 2 hours because the ferry can not speed up the velocity due to the tidal wave. Finally at 10pm, we arrived to Pelabuhan merak, and then continue our journey to Jakarta.
Hm..so long journey..
