Opera 9.5 vs Firefox 3.0

After using both of internet browsers, now I can decide which one is suitable for me. The Result is OPERA 9.5.Why do I chose opera 9.5? The first reason is stability. In my PC, sometime (often) Mozilla Firefox 3.0 crashed and need to be restarted. Hm.. so it means very unstable (in my PC). Meanwhile, Opera 9.5 is running well in my PC and never need to be restarted.

The second reason is on consuming the memory. Firefox 3.0 consumes higher memory usage than Opera 9.5. In one time, I ever checked in Windows Task Manager and found that Firefox used approximately 200.000K of memory usage but Opera 9.5 only used approximately 20.000K of memory usage for accessing the same web page.

The third reason is speed dial. Opera 9.5 has speed dial as default when I open the tab or new page but Firefox 3.0 hasn’t. This Opera feature makes me easier and quicker for opening web page with only using simple click than write an url in url form. Actually, Firefox also has speed dial plug in named “fast dial”, but this fast dial is not default included in Firefox release version and need to be installed separately. Furthermore, this fast dial plug in is based on JAVA and it consumes higher memory usage.

Event it looks like Opera 9.5 is better than Firefox 3.0, I have the problem with the Opera 9.5 when input an image in wordpress. I can not resize the image by drag and drop when inserting an image to wordpress while Mozilla Firefox can. So I do down grade my Mozilla Firefox from version 3.0 into 2.14 only for browsing my wordpress blog http://andhy.qwords.net. Another comparation can be found at here and here
