Singapore (1st day)

Yuuu..hu… finally journey to Singapore was coming…

We went to Singapore via Batam in Friday, 13 June 2008. We used Garuda Indonesia from Sukarno Hatta International Airport on 13 June 2008 at 16.30 to Hang Nadim Airport Batam. Because of weekend, the plane tariff is more expensive than the usual tariff . After that, we went to Harbour Bay in Nagoya ( Batam) to have sea journey using ferry ship with destination to Harbour Front, Singapore. Harbour Bay in nagoya is the newest harbour in Batam and i think this ones is the best harbour in Batam.
After in ferry for approximately 1 hour, we arrived in harbour front at 21.00,(Singapore time zone) and then we went to our hotel in orchard road, Orchard Parade Hotel, using MRT. We bought MRT ticket from Harbour front station to orchrad station. The system for buying ticket is modern and using electronic device so we just click in the screen map then input some coin and finally the smart card ticket is ready. This system also can recognize coin and also banknote. When we bought ticket, we should deposit S$1 for the ticket and we can get our deposit back (refundable) when we arrived in our destination station by using the same electronic ticketing system. MRT is clean so we can enjoy the journey even sometime we don’t get the chair.

After arrived to Orchard Parade hotel, we went to Hard rock cafe for dinner and watching live music performance and then at midnight we go back to the hotel and sleep, Recharge energy and prepare the body for tomorrow
